This committee formed by the vice Minister of Mines and Energy, representatives of the Ministries of Finance and Justice, the Energy Mining Planning Unit, the general director in charge of the IPSE and part of his group's board of directors, held monthly and also known firsthand, the operation of the pilot project generation in this area, called the Technological Innovation Center with emphasis on liquid and gaseous fuels

CREG submitted draft rules to change wholesale energy market.
The commission on Energy and Gas Regulation (CREG) held a workshop through which explained the Resolution 001 of 2010 which is ordered to publish a draft comprehensive resolution whereby amending Resolution CREG-137 of 2009 , i.e. the rules regarding the wholesale market.
The proposal to change the resolution CREG-137 of 2009, include a scheme to adjust quantities when degrade system reliability as determined by analysis of energy and this is reflected in the stock price. This should allow adjustment to thermal generation in the electrical system dispatch and stock price should reflect this adjustment, it also proposed to repeal the resolution 18-1686 of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (October 2, 2009) as appropriate to the requirement for the generation of security. |

Una comisión integrada por Francisco Santos Calderón, Vicepresidente de Colombia, Edigson Pérez Bedoya, Director General de IPSE, María Elvira Pombo, Directora General de Proexpor Colombia, y Juan Gabriel Pérez, Director de Proexpor-España, visitaron en el mes de octubre dos regiones de Europa, con el fin de revisar y conocer los últimos avances y desarrollos tecnológicos en energías renovables, que se vienen adelantando y que en la actualidad hacen parte de algunos centros de innovación tecnológica que implementa el Instituto de Planificación y Promoción de Soluciones Energéticas para las Zonas No Interconectadas -IPSE, en Colombia.

La energía solar debiera recibir 16.000 millones de euros durante la próxima década y hasta 30 'Ciudades Inteligentes' ahorradoras de energía debieran ser construidas, según un informe de la U.E.
En total, al menos 50.000 millones de euros en financiamiento adicional es previsto durante los próximos 10 años para asegurar un amplio rango de tecnología resultante que ayude a que la UE cumpla su meta de recortar las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en un 80 por ciento al 2050.
